Meet the Dallas Team Behind CleanRun Air Duct Cleaning Dallas

We’re the crew that shows up in the same trucks, wearing the same uniforms, with the same photo documentation rig we’ve used since 2013. What ties us together isn’t a handbook. It’s that every one of us has had to explain to a homeowner, with the camera rolling, exactly what we found in their plenum, the big distribution box at the top of your duct system, and exactly what we’re going to do about it. Tomas Reyes set that expectation on day one. Nobody here gets to skip it.

Tomas Reyes, Owner

I started CleanRun in 2013 after twelve years as an HVAC installer, mostly in North Texas tract homes where the ductwork was an afterthought. I hold a Texas Air Conditioning Contractor License and have seen enough “cleaned” ducts that were still packed at the elbows to know that without a photo record, you’re just trusting a vacuum noise. I still ride with crews two or three mornings a week, usually with a coffee from White Rock Coffee on Garland Road, because the only way to catch a missed register is to be there when the panels come off. I live in Lake Highlands with my wife and two dogs who shed enough to keep our own vacuum running.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been with us seven years and runs the Rotobrush and Nikro negative-pressure extraction systems, the big vacuums that pull debris out while the brushes scrub the duct walls, on our bigger residential jobs in Preston Hollow and Lakewood. He holds NADCA certification and specializes in older homes with galvanized ductwork, the kind you find in M Streets bungalows built before 1980, where the seams have loosened and the debris cakes hard. Off the clock he rebuilds vintage motorcycles and has a running joke about finding more interesting things in ducts than on Craigslist. He’s the one who trained our last three apprentices on how to photograph a duct run so the homeowner can actually see the difference, not just a blurry flashlight circle.

Darlene K., Senior Installer and Duct Repair Specialist

Darlene came to us from commercial HVAC in 2019 and handles our duct repair and sealing work, the jobs where we’re not just cleaning but fixing disconnected runs or sealing leaks with mastic, the thick paste that hardens onto metal seams. She’s certified in Aeroseal application, a method that pressurizes the entire system and seals leaks from the inside, which we use in newer Dallas builds where access panels are limited. She grew up in Oak Cliff and still lives there, knows which post-war neighborhoods have the flexible ductwork that squirrels love to chew through, and keeps a photo on her phone of the worst nest she’s ever pulled from a return-air grille, the vent that sucks air back into your system. She won’t show it unless you ask. Usually twice.

James R., Service Coordinator

James answers the phones and schedules the work, which sounds straightforward until you’ve tried to fit a full-system cleaning with photo documentation into a four-hour window in Highland Park during allergy season. He’s been with us four years and knows every technician’s pace, every traffic pattern between Uptown and Far North Dallas, and which houses built during the 2011-2014 construction rush have the access panels hidden behind water heaters. He sends the written price quotes, the scope documents that list every duct run we’ll clean, and follows up with the photo record links after the job. He grew up in Richardson, still catches shows at the Kessler Theater when he can, and has a spreadsheet ranking every breakfast taco within ten miles of our dispatch point. He will share it if you call and ask nicely.

Elena V., Apprentice Technician

Elena joined us in 2024 after completing her HVAC certificate at Dallas College and is working through her supervised hours for state licensing. Right now she runs the pre-inspection camera, the flexible scope we snake through ducts to document condition before any work starts, and assists on dryer vent cleanings, the jobs where lint buildup in the exhaust run, the metal pipe that carries hot air out of your house, creates a genuine fire hazard. She’s from Garland, lives in a 1970s ranch with her parents, and has already developed opinions about which furnace brands from that era are worth keeping. Tomas checks her photo sets personally for the first six months. Hers have been clean since week three.

CleanRun Air Duct Cleaning Dallas is independently owned and operated under the Haven Standard, established in 2013. Every job we run here follows the same protocol as every other CleanRun crew in Texas: Haven Standard Clause 1, written price before any work starts; Haven Standard Clause 3, verified crews with background-checked, uniformed technicians identified by name before arrival; and the 365-Day Done Right Promise backed in writing on every invoice. The equipment in our vans, Rotobrush, Nikro, Abatement Technologies, Honeywell, Aprilaire, and Guardsman, is the same equipment you’ll find in any CleanRun location because we want customers to look up what we’re using and verify it themselves. The photo record, before and after inside every duct run, delivered as part of your standard job record, isn’t a Dallas perk. It’s how we’ve operated since the first job. Whether we’re working in a 1920s Swiss Avenue duplex or a new build in Bishop Arts, the standard doesn’t bend. The crew might joke about the traffic on 75 or the heat in an unventilated attic in July, but the documentation, the written scope, and the written warranty go out the same way every time.
